BOARDCASE (6 Kits): Learn more – click here!
With the Boardcase you get 6 acoustic kits with different character. These kits are created entirely from the sounds, layers and samples that your TD-17 offers out of the box. Using the built-in tools and effects for sound processing, the possibilities of your module are fully exploited to give you natural and authentic sounding drums.
Even more instruments
The principle of Advanced Acoustics includes an enrichment for you: striking surfaces that are normally little used (such as the tom rims or the surfaces (bows) of the crash cymbals) are provided with additional acoustic instruments, with which you can play creatively without taking up more space.
At the same time, the basic sounds (bass drum, snare drum, toms, cymbals) stay exactly where you expect them!
Even more triggers
Your TD-17 has two additional trigger inputs (AUX) that allow you to add a 4th tom and a 2nd crash cymbal to your set.
The Advanced Acoustics Kits are already prepared for this: in each kit, matching tom or cymbal sounds are already available at the AUX inputs. So you can easily attach two additional instruments – without programming!
SUITCASE (10 Kits): Learn more – click here!
The Suitcase automatically contains all 6 kits of the Boardcase. And you get even more!
2 kits as a pair: with and without
Strainer!
What is done with a simple lever movement on acoustic snare drums requires much more work on e-snares: the (virtual) lowering of the snare strainer from the resonant head!
That’s why you get two additional kits that belong to each other and offer identical instruments:
Turbine OFF
- Kit with snare strainer lowered
- makes the snare sound similar to a timbale
- no resonating swing of the snare strainers on the bass drum and toms
Turbine ON
- Kit with snare strainers tightened
- makes the snare sound as expected
- quiet resonance of the strainers while playing, as you normally hear from acoustic drums
However, that is still not all…
And 2 more kits – with exclusive
GF1 Samples!
GF1 Samples are synthetically created sounds that have been tonally tuned for interaction with the module’s own sounds. The combination of factory sounds and GF1 Samples brings sometimes subtly, sometimes clearly more pressure, more transparency – and more fun into the kits!
Enjoy bass drums, snares and toms enriched with GF1 Samples in not just one, but two kits.
With this you get a total of 10 kits in the Suitcase!
FLIGHTCASE (15 Kits): Learn more – click here!
With the Flightcase you get the complete collection of Advanced Acoustics!
This means that all 10 kits of the Suitcase (and thus of course also of the Boardcase) are automatically included. And this comes on top:
Even more kits with GF1 Samples
You get two kits in which more GF1 Samples have been processed. Together with the GF1 Samples from the Suitcase, more than 30 GF1 Samples are used in the Flightcase!
Only in the Flightcase: 3 Kits with
GF1 VIP-Samples
GF1 VIP-Samples go one step further than GF1 Samples: Here, the aim is to record real instruments in the studio in order to capture their authentic sound on the one hand, and to perfectly match them to the respective drum module in post-processing on the other.
This way, the worlds of acoustic and electronic drums merge even further!
You get these three snares as GF1 VIP-Samples

AYOTTE Maple 14″x3,5″ Marble Grey, ca. 1991
Due to fantastic sounds and superior manufacturing quality, the Canadian manufacturer Ayotte enjoys the reputation of being the “Rolls-Royce” among drum manufacturers.
This handmade snare drum has been in its first ownership for over 30 years.
PEARL e-Pro Poplar 14″x5″ Black, ca. 2011
The e-Pro concept is based on acoustic instruments that could be easily converted into trigger instruments by adding a special drumhead. The basis was formed by such shells, which were also used in the famous Export series, known as the best-selling drum series in the world.

SONOR Delite 14″x5″ Vintage Maple Violet Sparkle, ca. 2009 2009
Vintage Maple shells are characterized by a particularly low thickness despite several layers of maple. This allows them to vibrate unhindered and unfold a powerful warm and crisp sound, which is fantastically highlighted by the solid cast hoops.
In total you get 15 kits with the Flightcase!

What is ADVANCED ACOUSTICS?
First of all, with Advanced Acoustics you get a great collection of acoustic kits for your module. And there is the extra mile, because:
Compared to the acoustic drummer, you have a huge advantage as an e-drummer: you can use playing areas that are often sorely neglected!
Advanced Acoustics Kits use the tom tension tires (rims) and the surfaces of the Crash Cymbals (bows) for additional acoustic sounds. This way you can use all trigger inputs of your TD-17 – without additional costs and without taking up more space!
Your journey even goes one step further: you get matching sounds at both AUX inputs (the additional trigger inputs of your module). With this, you are automatically prepared for another tom and/or cymbal – without programming!
Only with Gear Force One: GF1 Samples and GF1 VIP-Samples
Your TD-17 offers the possibility to enrich the internal sounds with samples. This is a great way to “fatten up” your sounds and make them more individual – but it also means considerably more effort! The sample must be such that it also harmonizes well with the internal sounds, otherwise it won’t help you. Where to get such samples from?
You guessed the answer: Advanced Acoustics Download Kits bring you exclusive samples in the Suitcase and Flightcase that take selected kits to a higher sphere of sound! Whether it’s a subtle sound enhancement or a significant sound change:
You’ll notice it when you play – and you’ll love it!
What are GF1 Samples?
GF1 Samples are synthetically generated samples. They are created by combining different sound sources and recording techniques. The important thing here is to “blend” the sound parts together in such a way that the finished sample is coherent in itself and fits perfectly with the internal sounds of an e-drum module. Several samples belonging to a group (e.g. a whole tom set) are carefully matched to produce a tonal and sonic whole.
What are GF1 VIP-Samples?
GF1 VIP-Samples are created using a different principle: real acoustic instruments are specifically recorded in the studio and carefully processed by Gear Force One. This is all about capturing the real sound of the instrument and editing the recording so that the finished GF1 VIP-Sample works perfectly together with the internal sounds of your e-drum module. This further merges the sound worlds of electronic and acoustic drums and all the benefits are yours to enjoy!

Fly-High-on-Your-New-Kits, or Get-Your-Money-Back,
60-Days Return Policy
Choose a Download Case, order it, play every single GF1-Kit. If you’re not delighted with the results, if in fact you are not excited with the improved authentic acoustic sound, if playing the additional sounds don’t lead you to be creative and put a smile both on your face and your beating heart, I refuse to keep your money. In other words: I offer you a 100-percent-money-back return policy over not less than 60 days after your purchase – but I don’t stop here…
You buy a digital product. This means that I can’t make you give it back to me; there is no “digital vacuum cleaner” that I could use to go over your computer and pull the data of your GF1-Kits back onto my computer.
This is a risk I take – and I am willing to take it. I’m taking your fun in playing your electronic drums very seriously. I believe in my work so much, that I promise you: if you don’t find yourself excited about improving your sound by adding Advanced Acoustics Kits to your TD-17, you’ll not only get your money back, but also keep your GF1 Download Kits.
If you decide – for any reason – that I didn’t do a good job on giving your device some awesome new GF1-Kits, then just click on the support-link you’ll find at the order confirmation (that you’ll get right after your purchase), and click on “question about payment”. Do this within 60 days after your purchase and you’ll get your money back.

It’s time to take off. The Advanced Acoustics Download Kits fully exploit the potential of your TD-17 without any programming. But you don’t just get more sounds and effects.
You get the chance to turn your electronic drum kit into an instrument that lets you set the tone!
