With the Boardcase you get 6 acoustic kits with different character. These kits are created entirely from the sounds, layers and samples that your TD-17 offers out of the box. Using the built-in tools and effects for sound processing, the possibilities of your module are fully exploited to give you natural and authentic sounding drums.

Even more instruments

The principle of Advanced Acoustics includes an enrichment for you: striking surfaces that are normally little used (such as the tom rims or the surfaces (bows) of the crash cymbals) are provided with additional acoustic instruments, with which you can play creatively without taking up more space.

At the same time, the basic sounds (bass drum, snare drum, toms, cymbals) stay exactly where you expect them!

Even more triggers

Your TD-17 has two additional trigger inputs (AUX) that allow you to add a 4th tom and a 2nd crash cymbal to your set.

The Advanced Acoustics Kits are already prepared for this: in each kit, matching tom or cymbal sounds are already available at the AUX inputs. So you can easily attach two additional instruments – without programming!

What is done with a simple lever movement on acoustic snare drums requires much more work on e-snares: the (virtual) lowering of the snare strainer from the resonant head!

GF1 VIP-Samples go one step further than GF1 Samples: Here, the aim is to record real instruments in the studio in order to capture their authentic sound on the one hand, and to perfectly match them to the respective drum module in post-processing on the other.

Due to fantastic sounds and superior manufacturing quality, the Canadian manufacturer Ayotte enjoys the reputation of being the “Rolls-Royce” among drum manufacturers.
This handmade snare drum has been in its first ownership for over 30 years.

PEARL e-Pro Poplar 14″x5″ Black, ca. 2011

The e-Pro concept is based on acoustic instruments that could be easily converted into trigger instruments by adding a special drumhead. The basis was formed by such shells, which were also used in the famous Export series, known as the best-selling drum series in the world.

Vintage Maple shells are characterized by a particularly low thickness despite several layers of maple. This allows them to vibrate unhindered and unfold a powerful warm and crisp sound, which is fantastically highlighted by the solid cast hoops.
